TRX suspension training
Especially for people who don't have access to a gym, this is a great little piece of equipment that has the possibility of hundreds of exercises!!
TRX is all body weight training, with exercises from beginner, intermediate to advanced.
I personally love the TRX for core work.
Instead of posting exercises and naming them (they wouldn't make much sense), I'm going to put some youtube links below (cut and paste them in the URL) and some pics so you can see some demos of what you can do on it!
You can hang this up pretty much anywhere, and the straps are very easy to adjust.
(I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to give one as a prize in another contest some time!)
Have any of you used TRX? What do you think??

I LOVE the TRX!! We have these, Vipr and Battling Ropes at the Y now and I love getting trained with them. Its a killer workout.
ReplyDeleteI have never tried this but it looks like it would be lot less stressful on the joints and feet? I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and after having my third I was in quite a bit of pain all throughout the day. That is one of the reasons I am doing swimming and pilates right now and have scaled back on my other workouts(that I loved). Any suggestions on where to attach this in the home?
ReplyDeleteJacque it actually has a door attachment specifically for it. OR you can always go to a park and use a tree branch, fence, or soccer goal also. It's pretty versatile. Sorry about your feet!!
